How the Roulette Payout Table Works
The roulette payout table maps each bet type to its return ratio. Inside bets — placed directly on numbers — carry higher payouts because they cover fewer pockets. A straight-up bet on a single number returns 35 to 1. Outside bets like red/black, odd/even and high/low cover roughly half the wheel and pay 1 to 1. Dozens and columns cover 12 numbers
each and pay 2 to 1. The house edge comes from the zero pocket, which is why European single-zero roulette gives you a tighter edge than the American double-zero version. Our live roulette tables, streamed by Evolution, carry the single-zero layout as the default.
